New book to be released at the festival-
The Green Book of Olwen Ellis by Chris Bradshaw. This book has been twenty-five years in the writing. It is an adventure of old-fashioned imagination and mythology pitted against the corporate values of late twentieth-century Britain. At the same time it is the very real Wales of the 1980’s and 1990's on the brink of the world we now live. It is a shifting, subversive world of chivalry, sex and duplicity, death and resurrection; and the are echos of old Welsh tales, poetic themes and literary condumdrums; along side ghost, faries and comic policemen. The book is limited release, hand-bound in half-buckram and marbled paper.
